Report & Settings - RDS Settings


Professional Studio XP-I offers the possibility to communicate throught RDSController application, with a Radio Data System having functions to send text messages in real time.This messages are information about the on-air record or about the radio station. RDSSettings Interface allows to set the type and message's format send to RDS.



Song Data Settings for RDS Controller > This panel displays the user's options for message text transmission from Song category. These options are: Autotext > send "Autotext" text. Artist-Name > sends the artist and record's name. Artist-NAme[Genre] > sends the artist, record and genre. Artist-Name[Album] > sends artist, record, genre and album. Artist-Name[Genre,Album] > sends artist, record, year and genre. Artist-Name[Year,Genre] > sends artist, year and genre. Artist-Name[Album,Year] > sends artist, album and year. Artist-Name[Album,Genre] > sends artist,album and genre. Artist-Name[Album,Year,Genre] > sends artist, record, album and genre.



AllOthersSettings > This panel displays the user's options for message text transmission from All Otherscategory. These options are: Selector > This combo box allows to choose the category. TextDaTA > This field sets the text chosen by the user in case of option TextDaTA from panel AllOthersDataSettings for RDSController. AllOthersDataSettings for RDSController > This panel displays the options for All Others category text transmission. These options are: Autotext > sends "Autotext". TextDATA > sends the text typed in TextDATA. Artist > sends the artist. Name > sends the name. Artist Name > sends the artist and the record.



Commands > This panel contains the main operations that can be made in RDS Settings Interface. Send Data to RDS Controller from Studio XP-I > this checkbox enables the message transmission to RDS Controller application. Active Interface > sets what category will be accessed to modify its parameters. Save RDS Settings > saves the RDS Settings configuration.
