All the files that are not in the database are passed through a special HDD zone named Buffer. It is found at c:\studio II\buff on the MAINSERVER and on Station computers.

After editing the files will be moved automatically from the buffer zone on the others logical partition of the MAINSERVER in accord with the free space covering criteria, specified in System Settings, in the setting module. Also the names of the recordings will be changed, receiving numeric identifiers.

Note:

For editing, the files in the buffer zone must not be read only. Avoid the use of files with different bitrates.

Those files can lead to errors when running the DJConsole.
